However, I always love putting new, budget friendly products to the test for you. Wet n Wild MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Eyeshadow: Review

I’ve never been a big fan of liquid or cream shadows in the past. But I have to admit that the formula of these shadows is nice. The cream shades apply like traditional liquid shadows, but they dry down almost like a matte powder shadow. They are easy to blend out with your finger or with a brush. When you first apply them, they are opaque. However, as you blend them, they start to become more sheer and they actually look very light. As a result, they are amazing for a subtle, everyday look. I like for my eyes to really pop, so that is a downside for me.

Off The Grind and Sand Castles blended out.

You can use all of the colors at once or you can just use one shade and buff it out. I’ve use each shade in one look just like you would a standard powder shadow and it turned out pretty well. All of the shades work well without becoming patchy and muddy. But, as I mentioned earlier, they do become lighter in color once you blend them.

I used each shade but Sand Castle. Off The Grind is on the lid and lower lashline. You can see how much lighter it is on the eyes in comparison to the swatch.

The wear time of the Wet n Wild MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Eyeshadows is incredible. I have never use a liquid shadow that wears as well as these do. I don’t use a primer with them and they last all day with absolutely no creasing or fading. In fact, I have started to use the shade Camel Back as a base for powder shadows. It does an amazing job, especially with warmer toned looks. I have even used it to do a cut crease, which turned out beautifully.

I used Camel Back to the cut crease and set it with a light shimmer shade, so some if it is still peeking through.

Metallic shades are usually my favorite, but that isn’t the case with Fairytale Ending. I have to layer it quite a bit for it to even show up. Even in the swatch you can tell that it is a little bit patchy and not quite as intense as you would expect. The end result is pretty, but soft. Whether that is good or bad depends on your preferences. Personally, I love intense shine and this does not give that.

Wet n Wild as a whole is cruelty free, but these shadows are also vegan! You have to give major kudos to Wet n Wild for that. They are one of the few drugstore brands that haven’t increased a lot in price, and now they are giving us some vegan options. Hopefully other brands will start following their example.

Wet n Wild MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Eyeshadow: Pricing and Availability

As to be expected, the Wet n Wild MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Eyeshadows are affordable. They are $4.99 and right now you can get 40% off on Wet n Wild’s site. They are supposed to be in store at CVS, but I haven’t seen them at the stores near me. I am unsure what other retailers they will be available at. Your best bet would be just to order them online while they are on sale. I will warn you that Wet n Wild’s shipping can take awhile, so be prepared to wait a little bit.

Overall, these are beautifully formulated liquid shadows. Camel Back has earned a permanent spot in my makeup bag and I keep the others close by in case I need a quick, budge proof, natural look.

Such a shame about Fairy Tale. It’s such a pretty shade. But I do see where it’s a bit patchy. The cut crease you did is pretty amazing. Loving the eye look! At first I thought those were lip shades lol.

Yeah, I was really disappointed with that one. =( Thank you! I was parading that cut crease around everywhere because it was the first successful one I’ve ever done. Lol! They actually do look a lot like lip shades. I didn’t notice that at first. Haha.
