Natasha Denona Camel Palette Review and Swatches

At first glance, the new Natasha Denona Camel Palette doesn’t look exciting. Yet, I still wanted to try it out. This is my first palette by her and I thought a neutral palette would be the best place to start. Fortunately, I really love this little palette! I have used it nearly everyday since it arrived from Sephora. It is the ideal everyday palette for those of us that love eyeshadow. You can use one of the matte shades all over the lid or utilize the entire palette. Either way looks great.

Natasha Denona Camel Palette Shades and Swatches

I know that two shades in the Natasha Denona Camel palette look identical, but they are not. The one on the far right is a touch warmer and darker, so it is good for adding a soft definition. Here are the shade names and descriptions:

  • Arrosto is a matte dark brown with a warmer undertone
  • Dune is a metallic golden nude
  • Safari is a matte dusty ochre
  • Copper Stone is a metallic copper
  • Zand matte warm ochre

Natasha Denona Camel Palette Review

As I mentioned earlier, two of the matte shades are very similar. However, there is a little difference. I find that these two blended together make for a flawless crease. The darker of the two adds just enough definition to my crease without being too over the top. The shadows have a beautiful formula. Each of the mattes has a smooth, consistent texture that isn’t dry or patchy. Basically, they are a dream to work with. They require minimal work to apply and blend, which makes them great for a quick, everyday look. The two metallic shades are just as beautiful. Dune makes a beautiful inner corner highlight or lid shade for a simple look. Copper Stone is my favorite shade of the palette. I love a good, metallic copper. Each shade works so well together and they never look muddy. The color pay off is great, they blend well, and they stay on all day. I have a lot of eyeshadows, but I can say that I don’t have anything that quite matches the tone of the shades in the Natasha Denona Camel Palette. It looks unassuming, but there is also something a little different about the undertones.

Natasha Denona Camel Palette

As you can tell, I love this little palette. if you have never tried Natasha Denona shadows, this is a good place to start. Or if you are just looking for a no fuss daily palette. this one is for you, too. The packaging is nice as well. It is heavy and sturdy, so it would travel wel. I think $25 is a very fair price for the quality you are getting. I can’t recommend it enough.
