Kylie Jenner Summer 2018 Inspired Look

I’m sure you have seen some of the promo images for the Kylie Cosmetics Summer 2018 Collection. In one of them, Kylie is wearing a stunning smoked out, intense brown eye with a little bit of orange liquid liner in the crease. I LOVED this look and wanted to add my own spins to it. Of course it isn’t as well executed, but I still like how it turned out. Keep reading to see how I achieved this Kyle Jenner Summer 2018 Inspired Look.

Kylie Jenner Summer 2018 Inspired Look: Eyes

First things first, apply some tape to get the perfect winged shape.

To prime my eyes, I used the Milani eyeshadow primer and set it with the ColourPop No Filter Pressed Powder. For the eyeshadows, I used the Morphe Jaclyn Hill Palette, starting with the shade Silk Creme. I used a larger fluffy crease brush to apply Silk Creme as my transition color and I used a smaller, more pointy crease brush to apply Hunts into the crease. On the outer half of the lid, I combined the shades Mocha and Chip to give that dark brown smokey vibe. On the inner half of the lid, I used my finger to apply Queen, which is a metallic golden bronze. For the orange liner, I used Wet n Wild’s Liquid Catsuit in Terrifying Tangerine. I used an angled brush by ColourPop to apply it right in the crease. This color isn’t available in stores, but you can get it on sale on the Wet n Wild site.

On the lower lash line, I used a pencil brush to smoke out Hunts. On top of that shade, I used the Dear Katie Brown Pressed Glitter in Primitive to add some extra sparkle.

Kylie Cosmetics Summer 2018 Inspired Look: Face and Lips

For foundation, I used the ColourPop No Filter Foundation and I followed it up with the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer. To set everything, I used Maybelline’s Fit Me Setting Powder. To put some color back into my face, I applied the middle shade in Morphe’s Blushing Babes Trio in Pop of Coral. I didn’t use a highlighter for this look (shocking, I know) so I went onto my lips. I didn’t want to do a bold orange lip like Kylie did, so I used Wet n Wild’s Liquid Catsuit in Nudist Peach and topped it with ColourPop’s Ultra Glossy Lip in Lychee Me. Unfortunately, they do not make this color anymore, but any nude gloss will work.

Overall, I’m happy with how this turned out. I have been working hard to expand my comfort zone when it comes to makeup and practicing a lot more. There is always room for improvement. I hope you enjoyed this look!
